Travelodge Saver Rooms are renowned for their competition-busting prices, but when booking you need to consider that they are non-transferable and non-refundable.
However, they are not quite as inflexible as they may appear on first sight.
Subject to availability and giving the necessary notice, the date of your Travelodge stay can be amended if you find your plans unexpectedly change – all you have to do is pay a £5 amendment fee.
Changing the booking for a Travelodge Saver Room is therefore subject to the following conditions:
- Modifications must be made at least 7 days in advance for £29, £39, £49 and £59 Saver Room Rates
- Modifications must be made at least 21 days in advance for £19 Saver Room Rates
- You can change room type or date of arrival, or extend your stay at the same rate
- All the above is subject to room availability at the required rate
- The £5 amendment fee is charged per room.
Even more reason to consider a Travelodge Saver Room for your next accommodation
Travelodge work hard to come up new ideas to encourage more travellers to join their loyal base of customers… customers who clearly love the knock-down prices, great value family rooms, reliable standard of accommodation and ‘kids eat free’ offers.
Their latest is to offer starter and main course, or main course and dessert, for a refreshingly low price of just £8. Don’t forget though… you can only take advantage of this Travelodge Meal Deal if you book it in advance and online.
Now I am not going to tell you that their restaurants will be featured in the next Egon Ronay guide. However, you can rest assured that if you book at a Travelodge with a Bar Cafe then you will have the choice of a reasonable quality meal at a much better than reasonable price. You don’t have to take it, but at least you have that option if you expect to be tired after a long day at work or need to prepare that presentation for the next morning while you eat your dinner, or if you know from experience that you will be footsore from too much sight-seeing.
There is no room-service available (but can you really expect there to be at this price), but restaurant staff are happy to provide you with a tray if you would like to take your food to your room yourself.
I am a regular user of Travelodge myself for both business (at any price) or leisure (only the Super Saver Rooms), and I shall certainly be taking advantage of this offer. If you think it sounds good too then check out the latest low-priced rooms at Travelodge by clicking the link below.

The Cut-off Date for the Travelodge Easter Sale may have passed, but I have just checked the Travelodge website this morning and there are THOUSANDS of £19 and £29 Rooms Still Available. I have scanned the availability of 100 Travelodges, and most of them still have £19 Travel Lodge Rooms Available at some point over the weekends between 21st March and 20th April.
And if the £19 Travelodge Rooms have gone, there are even more £29 rooms available so there are still some great deals to be had, especially for families as the rate is per room.
Don’t forget, we particularly recommend those with a Bar Cafe as then the kids eat breakfast for free too.

We have just been checking hotel prices in France for a personal trip, and as a result are adding OctopusTravel to our list of recommended Hotel Booking Websites.
The big distinction when compared with other Hotel Booking Websites for France is that OctopusTravel often include breakfast in the room rate. Certainly for the Best Western Hotels we were looking at, this saved a significant amount of money as breakfast is usually charged at 11 euros per person per night.
We have actually used OctopusTravel before, a couple of years ago, when they offered the Best Hotel Rates for a stay in New York, so we whole-heartedly recommend you include them in the list of sites you check before booking your hotel anywhere in the world.

Don’t forget – the Travelodge Easter Sale finishes in 4 days time. This means that if you want to take advantage of the £19 Travel Lodge Rooms on offer between 21st March and 20th April then you must book them by 10th March.
As always, although obviously available to all, the £19 Travelodge Saver Rooms offer particularly good value for a family of 4 as the kids stay for free. If you choose one with a Bar Cafe then the kid eat breakfast for free too.
