This one surprised me. I have been looking at the price of Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Express Hotels, and I was amazed to spot the Coventry South Holiday Inn at a mere £40 for a family room with two queen size double beds.

At this price the Intercontinental Hotel Group is competing head on with budget hotels like Travelodge.

You won’t find all their hotels at this price, but by booking in advance you can pick up some terrific deals. Of course, many of the Holiday Inn Hotels also have leisure facilities, and the Holiday Inn Express Hotels include complementary deluxe continental buffet breakfast in the price.

Combine this with their Lowest Internet Price Guarantee, and you’ll certainly be wise to check the Holiday Inn and Express by Holiday Inn website before booking at a budget hotel chain.

Have you discovered Travelodge yet? Anyone hunting for Cheap Hotel Accommodation should always start their search on the Travelodge site.

It is always a bit of a lottery when trying different Cheap Hotels, but when you stay at a Travelodge you always know what is included and what the quality of the accommodation will be… and with the Travelodge Saver Rooms starting at just £19 for a family of four if you pay in advance I defy anyone to find a better deal.

These £19 and £29 Hotel Rooms do come with a drawback – they are non-refundable and non-transferable. However there is, surprisingly considering the price, some scope to make changes to your booking.
