We have all seen the recent Disneyworld.com adverts on the TV, and for those of us with kids (or the simply ‘young at heart’) it’s a great temptation to pull up the Disneyworld.com website and price up the next holiday to Disneyworld in Florida.

However, here is a tip for would-be Disneyworld holidaymakers – try checking the prices of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and Holidays on www.Expedia.co.uk first.

We have just done a comparison on a couple of Disneyworld.com holidays with the equivalent Expedia Holiday using the same Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, and we were amazed at some of the savings available by using Expedia.

All the prices are for a family of 4 flying from Gatwick:

• Depart 12/11/08 for the Disney All Star Music Resort:
• Disneyworld.com price for 7 nights – £2573
• Expedia.co.uk price for 7 nights – £1972
• Depart 15/11/08 for the Disney Grand Floridian Resort and Spa:
• Disneyworld.com price for 5 nights – £4939
• Expedia.co.uk price for 7 nights – £3279

By all means check the prices on Disneyworld.com, but looking at the examples above can you afford not to check Expedia.co.uk too?
