Hi. My name is Mark Salkeld.
My family and I enjoy our holidays. My wife usually chooses the often exotic destinations, and then I trawl the internet in the evenings over several weeks looking to save as much as I can on the price. With family holidays generally geared up for the ‘normal’ family of four, our family of five gives us even greater challenges when searching for that really cheap holiday!
Does it really have to be this hard? It was during the final research for our recent holiday this spring that it occurred to me there would be tens of thousands of families doing the same as us - scouring the internet for those bargains and wading through a lot of irrelevant sites in the process.
So my site, TheTravelPage.co.uk, was born. Its purpose is to direct travellers to the best websites for great travel deals. The types of holidays it covers is expanding by the week, as regular visitors will see.
TheTravelPage Blog has been set up to discuss all things travel-related. It will include features on cruise lines and airlines, holiday resorts and travel destinations, travel advice and checklists, and also announce new channels which are added to the main site. Comments and feedback are welcomed and encouraged.
