I have recently started the Linguaphone French AllTalk course, and what fun it is! I was never too good at languages at school, but the straightforward way the course is structured, combined with the slightly corny story of the English business man on his first trip to France, makes it really enjoyable to Learn the French Language.
I am on CD 4 out of 16 so far, and we have been introduced to checking into the hotel, ordering breakfast, asking for directions, asking questions, the alphabet, some of the more common numbers and a whole lot more.
I am now an enthusiastic advocate for this way of learning.
