Question: What is your opinion on lufthansa airlines? safety and service wise. 10 points?

Im supposed to be flying LAX- Frankfurt and then Frankfurt to Russia next month with them, but i have never flown lufthansa.

II flew with Lufthansa about a year ago, from San Francisco to Frankfurt, and then Frankfurt to Madrid. Over all the airline is very safe, and efficient. They really do try there best to make sure your flight is enjoyable, since it is so long. Leg room in coach isn’t that bad- it isn’t anything like first class, but definitely not bad. The flight attendants on both my flights were all very entertaining, and there to assist you with any problems or concerns. I would recommend flying with them.

I've flown them a lot. I find them to have good customer service and efficient flight attendants. They have the best safety record of any European airline.

I´ve flown LAX-Frankfurt 3 times with Lufthansa in what I think they call economy plus. My main problem with them is that on neither of those flights did they provide personal TV-screens for every seat. You were limited in your choice to the movie currently playing on a small monitor fixed to the ceiling. Food was like airline food in general. Seats were ok. I´m 5´10 " and found the seats a bit uncomfortable. If you can, plan to sleep during the flight.

The food is usually frozen and tasteless. You should bring some food with you to eat on the flight because otherwise they charge you if you want to buy on the plane extra food. During the transatlantic flight it's usually very cold, so bring a blanket or a sweater. Last couple of times I went with them from California to Romania(Eastern Europe), it was freezing and it was in the middle of August. On the plus side, the flight attendants are very kind and helpful.
