From past trips I have had (I travel alot for work) I use expedia.com and check the USER defined hotel rankings. I also check frommers.com/

If you can afford to saty in a 5* hotel then it doesnt really matter

Go to Hotels.com and sort by 5-star hotels. You can also check reviews and do virtual tours and see photos, etc...

Try hotelclub.com. If you join the site & book through them you earn money back for discounts on future hotel stays. They have a really good range of hotels too. Well worth a try!
