Preferably around oxford and regent street so i am near the main shopping area. If you could list the best ones or if anyone knows which hotels you can get the nicest junior suites in that would be great. i dont want websites that tell me, i want people who can give personal opinions who have stayed in these 5 star hotels and their thoughts.

The Sanderson. It's modern, hip, superb restaurant and a couple of uber chic bars, and it's a very short walk from Oxford Street.

I agree with the Sanderson is very good, but I can't tell you room rates as that will depend on when you book and if they have rooms available. If i had the money I would stay at the Lanesborugh, or the Berkley. Eaten & drunk at both and they are fantastic. Lanesborough ( Park Lane/ Hyde Park) Berkeley (Kinghtsbridge, but not far to walk to the shops in Regent St or Knightsbridge)

The Haymarket Hotel is freakin amazing. It's beautifully modern but very classic with wonderful local and international art. And the swimming pool is out of this world!
