Question: Snorkeling at the riu mambo

Hey me and my family are going to the riu mambo in a few weeks, and i was just wondering if i went snorkeling, i could get shells and bring them home right? like are they easy to find? hahaha..sorry if this question sounds dumb but i collect them and im really excited to go!!!!! Thanks!!!

HI Sarah, me again, Of course you can snorkel at the beach in Maimon. You will find some nice shells over there. But if you want to find some real beauties you have to go to a other beach. If some day you want to visit the place of the beginning of the new world ( Columbus) there is also a beach with a lot of shells. Just mail me if you want to know more about it. El Pinguino

Snorkeling right off the resort is not great, I have been there and tried it. As far as bringing home shells when you go back into your country they will take them if they find them for health/ safety reasons. If they don't see them, you are fine.
